Well, I took some LSD the other day. Its a completly mind-blowing experience. Reality is transformed. Truly strange. Very hard to describe. Its beautifull. One of the only ways I can think to decribe the experience was like reality was lubricated, and links you would normally expect to make dont seem to click into place. Its something I will allways remember as a positive experience.
I remember chating to someone a few years ago at a festical, and they where talking about "acid" and they where like: "let it find you. Dont go looking for it, when the times right it will find you" and it did, and I'm glad it did. I do honestly think the experience will help my emotional and spiritual development, highten my creativity and help me become an all round better person. As Bill Hicks once said:
"I believe that God left certain drugs growing naturally upon our planet to help speed up and facilitate our evolution"
But yeah, I just thought I'd share that with you all. I know we got some younger members on here, so remember kids: be responsible. There is plenty of time for dabbling in drugs when you grow up - if thats what you want to do, when its safe and totally 100% your own decission. _________________ I embrace my desire to
feel the rhythm, to feel connected
enough to step aside and weep like a widow
to feel inspired, to fathom the power,
to witness the beauty, to bathe in the fountain,
to swing on the spiral
of our divinity and still be a human. |

| Yeah, and thats cool, because its your prerogative to decide that. I'm not advocating the use of drugs here, just reporting on my own experience. |

| I've always wanted to try Psychedelics (LSD amongst others), but I never had the opertunity yet. it's something that I know I will try at least once in my lifetime. I'm really intreaged by the whole "out of body" experiance those types of drugs often bring on. |

| My personal opinion is that it's all trash and can only **** you up. Although, this coming from a person who you would think is on drugs just by reading his posts. |

Yeah, man. Its not gonna be something I do often if ever again. But the experience and mindset you can get from psychadelics is quite profound, and in my opinion can really help you learn about you'r self. It gives you other angles of seeing the world from.
I mean the tribes of South America have long since used plants to induce profound states of spiritual awareness. Drugs like Ayahuasca, which contains the active chemicals that induce dreaming. So thats the angle I'm coming from when I take drugs like LSD. I want to take positives and better myself as a spiritual being on this planet. A world away from pilling my tits off in a nightclub of a friday night, where the only thing I'm lilkley to learn is the color of curry after its been mixed with stomoch bile...
And Kit, thats a good attitude to have. Trust me. |

Aye, the forum is swear-friendly, but don't be troll-like in your bad language. I think the US should implement that kind of punishment. My city is a big meth lab place, although it is illegal. I'd like to see some people hung! |

Hanging people for possession of drugs is **** disgusting and makes my blood boil. Losts of drugs are naturally occuring plants and chemicals. Now does the idea of making nature ilegal not concern you at all? The human race is so arrogant that we think we can ban nature? Take mushrooms for example, untill recently, here in the UK I could go out and pick a bag full of magies and so long as I didnt dry them out or treat them I was fine. Now a bag of freshly picked mushrooms that occur naturally in certain places in our country is considered a class A drug and carries a probable prision sentance for possession? I **** disspear sometimes.
Heres something for you to think about. Legalize all drugs. Heroin, crack cocaine - the lot. Take them out of the hands of criminals who'l happily cut rat poision or brick dust into said drugs. Make needles available to all, so people dont share dirty needles and pass on HIV. Controll it. Tax it even. If people want to put a certain chemical into their body then its entirley up to them, and who the **** is anyone to say they cant, so long as their not hurting anyone else whilst doing it. Anyway thats what I think. |

| You bring up a good point, and I sort of see it your way. I guess the whole concept is "drug abuse". As long as people don't abuse it, it's okie. But being the anti-drug person I am, I sort of disagree with my last statement. |

I have never taken any drugs in my life other than some stupid presciptions my doctor gave me long ago, but there would be some positives with making drugs legal. Just like legalizing alcohol ended the booze smuggling crime business. Legalizing drugs would end the drug trafficing and a lot of drug crimes. Although now we just have a lot more drunks driving around killing people on the roads. Legalizing drugs would mean more children would have access to drugs, and more people would be abusing the most lethal drugs.
If people could just control themselves with alcohol and drugs, there wouldn't be as much of a problem, but too many people can't control themselves and abuse these things. |

| Why do you take drugs when you know it harms your body and health? Would you sacrifice your health for pleasure? |

I thought you were trying to get drug free aramoor...
Tractam, it's only unhealthy in the long run, and if you use it "too much".
Hobo, good point. Alcohol has never been unlegal in Sweden though, so we havn't endured that change. A few hundred years ago, there were 1 bar on 30 people in stockholm. We are getting a lot healthier now. |
