would anyone know if psychiatrists take medical insurance? and how expensive it would be? i'm too embarassed to ask my friends and i don't want to worry my parents with this question...
i'm not sure what insurance i even have...

Yes, Psychiatrist do take medical insurance. They definately take personal choice, bc, bs. Check with your insurance provider.

But watch for those strong anti-depressants, I've felt worse on them and I'm not a teenager, which is the group this is supposed to happen to.

If you feel you need some meds ask for something mild and in my opinion group therapy, so you can keep the social thing going while you fight this misery.
