Rolling Eyes Well I know I have SA, and well after years of nagging my mum for a docters appointmnet, I've got on and its on Friday. And I'm absolutly dreading it. As soon as the confermation screen came up saying the appoitment was booked, anxiety came flushing at me. I'm so scared about the appoitment. And my mum dosnt berlieve that i have SA, she says its called 'growing up'. and she is going to tell the docter that, and because I wont be able to barely speak, I'm not going to say my side. I really need help, cos I'm dreading it, so if anyone has any words of advice I'd really appreciate them, and if you had to go to the docters about it, what did you say to them? ok bye........

write it down beforehand and talk to your mum openly about it before the appointment. if its too difficult to talk about it then just write it down and hand it to your doctor, also take someone you trust with you as well as your mum. pratice over and over until you feel comfortable with it and just remember your doctor is only their to help you, they wont judge you think badly of you or tell you off. use your doctor as someone to talk to about how you feel, if you cant talk to them their then just call them up if its easier and goodluck.

That's some good advice iPlume.

Good luck with your appointment freakamidget. What do you want to get out of the appointment? Are you looking for some meds to help with your SA?
