I encourage you to, in addition to voting and/or stating your religion, to provide the particulars of it. For example, if you're Christian (just for the sake of example; it can be any other religion), do you consider yourself a liberal, moderate, or conservative one?

Depends how you define religion. I did a google search and this person thinks it isn't a religion: http://www.ravenfamily.org/sam/pag/religion.html

There are indeed several definitions, but what is meant is the brand of Nature deity (often deities) worship and unique religious practices of the ancients (especially the Greeks and Romans), as opposed to the new, or neo-pagan (such as the Wiccans).

Then you are probably an atheist or agnostic. Or if you believe in God but not religion, then maybe you are a deist.

Well, I don't like religon, and I don't believe in God. So, one of those hehe. What do I vote for then? Oo

A sophisticated agnostic can just as easily as the atheist say "there is no God" and dislike religion (e.g.--Robert Ingersoll and Charles Darwin). Though he regards both theists and atheists as being irrational, that doesn't necessarily mean he regards them as being equally so. He may understand just as the atheist does that God is simply another hypothesis, just like the notion that there's a teapot orbiting Mercury right now, or that Thor exists.

Recommended Reading:

"Why an Agnostic?" by Steven Dutch. Mr. Dutch offers his defense of the "soundness" of agnosticism.

"Atheism and Agnosticism" by Paul Tobin. Mr. Tobin offers his defense of the "soundness" of atheism. This essay has convinced my intellectual agnostic friend, Karim Temple, to accept the label of atheist shortly after he offered a passionate defense of his agnosticism at my forum in a topic titled "Why Atheist and not Agnostic?" In that same topic I provide quotes by several sophisticated atheists as to why they've rejected the label of agnosticism.

Confusion over the two and which one to choose is understandable. But the recommended reading could help you if you're interested enough to read it.

I don't really buy all what that Rael guy is saying, and that aliens have communicated with him. Although, I do believe it could be possible that aliens aided mankind in some ways back in early civilizations.

I am Non-Religious, and because I don't want to deal with it all. My family, thankfully, was never forceful of religion on me, so I guess that might've been the start. I do respect Buddhism though, and some things of Paganism are respectable too, when I speak of the Druids 'n' all.

I do not believe in anything that isn't convincing enough.

I consider myself a Christian. Not a Catholic Christian, but more an Evangelist Christian.

I have never really had religion forced upon me, seeing neither of my parents are serious church goers.

I am not here to try and convert anyone, because it is his/her choice, but how can one exist if there is no reason for existence? Without some kind of heavenly being (Insert your chosen God here) what's the point of humankind?

With a Christian God, the meaning of life is to bring glory to Jesus Christ throughout your life, by praying and bringing people to Him. So what do we do if we have no God to follow?

It does seems strange that in our known solar system, the only inhabitable planet is ours, Earth. If there were no "Heavenly Being", how can you explain that our planet is the only one that can sustain life? Why do the other planets seem like barren wastelands, and ours can support billions of people?
