Today I was able to hear the voice of social phobia clearly as something separate from me. I was speaking, and I heard the 'voice' of social phobia say "stop speaking, you are distracting others". But instead of clamming up like normal, I recognized this voice as not of me, but from the pit of hell. And I said internally, 'No! I'm not listening to you!'. And I kept speaking, and the voice went away. Later, I felt like I wanted to hold my wife. But the voice came back and said "you better not do that, it will upset her". But again I called it out and told it to shut up, and I went and held my wife, and later she told me that she really needed that hug right at that moment.
Just want to encourage everyone. If you hear that voice that says to stop talking, stay home, you suck, whatever... it's not from us... it's from hell itself and we can kick it back to where it came from. |

Good work Brian.
Sometimes I indulge in negative self thoughts without even realising it. Next time I will try and break off from such negative thinking. _________________ Read the advertisement rules:

Good work, thats step in the right direction. I fight with those voices a lot. Sometimes I get a good punch in and knock them out, but other times they get the best of me.
Recently I have been winning the battles with these voices more often, and my anxiety seems to be improving. I still get anxiety, but definately not as badly as I used to. Which means everyone can improve and get better at dealing with this problem. |

| The disorder doesn't want you to be happy. It doesn't want you to share your thoughts with others and show affecton. It is wicked. We got to keep fighting it. |
