Hi, my name is Cameron, I'm 26. I believe I've had social anxiety most of my life which has lead to other problems such as low self esteem and low confidence. I feel it's held me back from doing many things, from relationships to career and even going for a walk without fearing seeing other people. I just want this to stop.

It's nice to see people I can relate to, all too often I've thought I was a freak or the only one who has this.

Welcome to the forums Cameron. SA does effect many areas of life. Career and relationships are definitely areas which have been affected.

You're not a freak. Many other people have issues similar to you.
