you call in sick to work because there is a meeting you are required to attend on that day. I was fired from my last job because of poor attendance that was directly related to my social anxiety. My wife left me because I don't ever wanna leave the house. I sometimes can't even get myself to walk out to the mailbox because all my neighbors mailboxes are beside mine and I'm afraid I might run into one of them. I usually get my mail late at night when I'm sure nobody else will be getting theirs.

I've been on paxil for 3 years now and it doesn't help much. It might help a little but not to the point of being able to function properly. I sometimes think I'm better and I go to the grocery store but last night I went and ran into a lady I knew from my last job and I nearly had a panic attack while talking to her. I was blushing, sweating, shaking. It was awful. I'm not attracted to her either.

I applied for disability but got turned down. I've been living off inheritance money since I got fired from my last job. It's about gone now though and I will have to find a job soon. What a nightmare. SA has destroyed my life.

i agree with hobo, don't u hate it when ppl say 'oh she never talks' or 'why don't u ever talk" it makes u feel even more bad about urself.
