| I have recently become so confused with my life. When i was in high school i went to a therapist to figure out what was wrong with me. She didnt really help nor did she seem to care about me one bit. Now that i am in college i am realizing how bad the anxiety really is. I dont know how or where to seek help. I dont know how to talk about it with the few friends that i actually to trust. Im afraid this is going to affect me in the long run and i really dont want this to ruin my life. Its kind of ironic because im going to school to become a social worker. I feel i need to help myself before i can help other people, i just dont know how to go about doing that. |

Hey,you know what, you have to propose first ,then God dispose . Becoming a social worker is a good choice.I believe you will learn much from the intercommunication among all kinds of people.
Anxiety, phobia and other symptoms of neurosis are all the same. They are not avoidable. They are very normal. Many people’s experience told us: since it cannot be treated by a short period, why don't you try to feel it. no matter what kind of anxiety , try to experience it. As you have no ability to control it, just give them some space and let them make troubles. When you really accept the anxiety , you won't feel the problem as difficult as out of your control. _________________ MSN: winds.lily@hotmail.com |

i feel the same way. college really opened me up to my social problems like never before. in high school i was a quite kid but i never had problems initiating conversation with people. but then when i was introduced to bing drinking college kids i found myself alienated. i wish i could give you some advice but im struggling with the same problem.
we just need to keep our heads up and find something to work for. create goals for yourself and improve your confidence. |
