No way! This can't be a dream!
I pinched my skin to make sure I was awake.
What I see might be too much to take.
The dance in a circle above the ground
and I can see you and it looks like you're still alive.
Somehow you seem so relieved.
A nightbird chasing the shadows fly right through your body
and then I know that you don't really exist.
You're just a reflection in this midsummer dance.
I feel my heart pounding faster ever than before,
I must have stopped breathing. The image of you fade.
And now I know why I had the strong feeling that I must find
this place you once described and to see your final dance.
Will we ever meet again? No!
How sad yet beatiful are those lyrics? _________________ I embrace my desire to
feel the rhythm, to feel connected
enough to step aside and weep like a widow
to feel inspired, to fathom the power,
to witness the beauty, to bathe in the fountain,
to swing on the spiral
of our divinity and still be a human. |

They are so sad yet beautiful they remind me of my own dreams of the girl I once loved, until she was run over by an 18 wheeler.
But seriously they are good deep meaningful lyrics. What song and artist are they from? |

Say your prayers little one
Dont forget, my son
To include everyone
Tuck you in, warm within
Keep you free from sin
Till the sandman he comes
Sleep with one eye open
Gripping your pillow tight
Exit light
Enter night
Take my hand
Off to never never land
Somethings wrong, shut the light
Heavy thoughts tonight
And they arent of snow white
Dreams of war, dreams of liars
Dreams of dragons fire
And of things that will bite
Sleep with one eye open
Gripping your pillow tight |

They are from the Edge Of Sanity song Twilight. Really good stuff. Good ol' Metallica lyrics there Neg. I remember seeing that song live in 2003 at Reading Festival, it was amazing. They got a HUGE circle pit going and everyone just went **** mental! |

Sounds like that would be a great music festival to attend. Enter Sandman is one of my many Metallica favorites.
I tried listening to some Edge of Sanity songs on Last.fm, but it said they are not yet available on there. |
